A community-led, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Namboothiri cultural heritage and building a supportive community across Canada.

Five letters,
one promise.

NAMAH stands for Namboothiri Alliance for Maintaining Ancestry and Heritage. Each word carries a part of what we do.

  1. Namboothiri

    The community we come from, carrying Vedic learning, ritual and the arts of Kerala.

  2. Alliance

    Families across Canada, choosing to work together as one association.

  3. Maintaining

    Keeping customs alive through festivals, gatherings and everyday practice.

  4. Ancestry

    Honouring our elders and the illams our families come from.

  5. Heritage

    Handing language, music and knowledge to the next generation.

Through shared values and collective efforts, we aspire to create a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers future generations to thrive while maintaining a deep connection to our traditions and cultural roots.
